Sant Rajinder Singh’s aptitude for the sciences was evident throughout his school years. After high school graduation, he pursued this calling at one of India’s most prestigious institutions: the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Madras. There, amid the rigors of an elite engineering curriculum, he earned an exemplary record of academic performance, graduating with a B. Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1967— a foundation that would remain central to his thinking, his communication, and his vision for the rest of his life.

Sant Kirpal Singh Ji, recognizing the potential in his grandson, encouraged him to further his studies in the United States— a remarkable distinction that reflected both his intellectual caliber and his readiness to serve as a bridge between East and West. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji gained admission to the Illinois Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) in Chicago.

The seeds of peace in the world have their origin in the righteousness in the heart of every individual. Such righteous citizens lead to the evolution of an enlightened society. Education with a value system has to be so designed that righteousness in the heart is developed in young minds. That should be the mission of education. The prime learning environment is five to seventeen years of age. This reminds me of an ancient Greek teacher saying, “Give me a child for seven years, afterwards, let God or Devil take the child.
